Kevin M. Rampe is Senior Vice President at Chubb Group and Global Claims Officer for Chubb, one of the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance companies. He is responsible for Chubb’s global and North America claims portfolio, overseeing all aspects of executive claims operations, service, and administration across the company’s worldwide network of claims offices.

Mr. Rampe has more than 30 years of experience spanning both the insurance industry and the public sector. He joined Chubb in 2005 as Global Compliance Officer, and was appointed General Counsel of North America and Global Deputy General Counsel before being named Head of North America Claims in 2021. Previously, Mr. Rampe served as President and Chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC), First Deputy Superintendent and Chief Operating Officer of the New York State Insurance Department, and First Assistant Counsel to New York State Governor George E. Pataki. He also held positions as an international litigator at the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling, as a Director and member of the Audit Committee of Global Container Terminals, and as a Director of the Life Insurance Council of New York.

As a Founding Director of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Mr. Rampe serves on the Executive Committee and the Buildings, Finance, and Investment Committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Insurance Federation of New York and a trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission of New York.

Mr. Rampe earned his B.A., cum laude, from Union College, his J.D., magna cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University, and is a recipient of an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Union College. In 2024, Mr. Rampe was recognized for Visionary Distinction by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum for his steadfast commitment to educating future generations about the stories of hope, solidarity, and service surrounding 9/11.
