Assistant Vice President, Regulatory & Compliance

Joseph Walsh has been in the insurance industry for over a decade. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President, Regulatory & Compliance at Ascot Group, he specializes in government relations, compliance program development, and regulatory data reporting.  
Since joining Ascot at the inception of its U.S. operations, Joseph has been a driving force behind the buildout of the company’s compliance framework and has played a pivotal role in the regulatory posture that supports Ascot’s rapid growth in the U.S. market. 
Prior to joining Ascot, Joseph served as a Sr. National Affairs Analyst at ISO/Verisk, where he analyzed and communicated legislative and regulatory developments affecting company products and served as a liaison with state regulatory agencies, trade associations, and other industry stakeholders. 
Joseph graduated from Kent State University with a B.A. in Political Science. He lives in Highlands, NJ, a short ferry ride from New York City, with his wife and son.
