Edward Steinborn has been a member of the insurance industry for over a decade. Currently in his sixth year with Aon, plc, he specializes in providing risk mitigation solutions for clients on both sides of the Mergers and Acquisitions field as an industry-leading risk management consultant. At Aon, Edward orchestrates a team of due diligence and insurance specialists providing risk-related solutions for private equity and corporate clients on M&A transactions ranging from $10M to $7B in Enterprise Value. Edward provides transaction advisory services and solutions for clients ranging from $50M AUM fund-of-funds to $80B AUM private equity firms.

Prior to joining Aon, Edward developed loss scenario modeling at AIG’s Enterprise Risk Management team in New York. He worked on running natural catastrophe peril models and developed systemic liability scenario models for AIG’s global portfolio.

Edward graduated from Loyola University of Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business with a B.B.S. in Finance. He is a competitive sailor and lives in Stamford, CT with his fiancée, Danielle.
