Matthew W. Daus is Founder and Chair of the Transportation Practice Group at Windels Marx, where he advises clients on regulatory compliance, strategic planning, litigation, and public policy across the transportation and technology sectors. He previously served more than eight years as Commissioner and Chairman of the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, the agency’s longest-serving chief executive, after holding senior legal roles within the TLC and other New York City agencies. A recognized authority on transportation regulation and policy, Daus lectures at the City University of New York, speaks internationally, and serves as President of the International Association of Transportation Regulators.
